With qualified staff supervising at all times, Kubby Junior is a friendly and welcoming environment specially designed to cater for children and young people right through the school age range.

 

Kubby Junior After School Club is located in St. Mary’s Primary School Kircubbin.
St Mary’s allows us to offer more indoor and outdoor facilities not to mention excellent parking for parents enabling Kubby to offer an expansive range of activities for your children.

 

What if your child doesn’t attend St Mary’s Primary School?
That doesn’t matter; a child from any school is welcome at Kubby Junior.

 

Key features of Kubby Junior includes:

- School pick-up is included in the fees;

- Kubby Junior is open to the needs of the whole community;

- Currently Kubby delivers and collects children from Schools and Nurseries in Ballywalter, Ballyhalbert, Kirkistown, Kircubbin, and Portaferry;

- All Kubby vehicles are insured and driven by Kubby Staff and are also registered with the DVA, a legal requirement, ensuring your child will only ever be in contact with fully vetted people;

- Breakfast club runs from 7.30am in the morning and is in Kubby Day nursery where we then transport your children to their relevant schools for a small extra cost

Kubby Junior operates a healthy eating policy and all snacks are prepared on the premises ensuring a fresh and well balanced diet is encouraged. At Kubby Junior we are in constant contact with the local Environmental Health Authority to ensure all standards are met and we are proud to say that we have achieved a “Food Standards Ratings” of 5.

 

'Pay as you Go' Service:

 

• Hourly After School Care provided – “as and when you need it”

• Notice on the day, variety of stimulating play activities

• Healthy snack provided

• Service provided by qualified childcare professionals

• Hourly Rate: £5.00

 

To avail of this service, place your child on the “Pay As You Go” register. Forms available from Daune and Janna in the After Schools Club.
